Gemlandia is a land that revolves around gems. Across its states, gems are mined and collected for a variety of purposes. In fact, the inhabitants of Gemlandia use gems for just about everything -- from cooking and cleaning to sport and war. Some gifted individuals can combine the energies of multiple gems to use powerful transformations called blends -- these are Gem Blenders. Gem blending is common practice and an integral part of the culture and economy of the states that make up mainland Gemlandia. While just east, in Tri-Gem Domain, gem blending is banned in order to provide a more egalitarian lifestyle for its residents.
