Welcome to the world of Gemlandia! Below you’ll find all 12 of our starter decks. Each tab contains the contents and a short strategy guide for each deck.

Every blend in your discard pile can be used with CATALYST CONTROLLER. Don’t be afraid to discard blends with FOWL and STEAM USHER — especially blends that you don’t have the gems for, like ANGEL. CONDENSATION COLLECTOR and COMBUSTION BOILER are a great pair to use with CATALYST CONTROLLER as well. 

Pro Tip: If QUINN saves you from dying, use RECYCLE to stay in the game a little longer!

Unlike most level 5 blends, FLEET REACHER works from the back position. This is great to power up GALE TRACER, but the true secret is to make use of the action card CONSOLIDATE. When you CONSOLIDATE, you can use the attack from ROCKET and DUC without being limited by their restrictive effects. 

Pro Tip: You can play CONSOLIDATE twice to attack for +12!

LATTICE is a tricky deck, requiring some tough decision making. RONI and BEATRICE make a nice team, although you’ll have to get comfortable being neck-and-neck with your opponent. Don’t worry, you can always use DAMIEN to get out of tough spots. Meanwhile, TOXIC RAM can turn BEATRICE into a dangerous threat. And two TOXIC RAMS deal twice as much damage! 

Pro Tip: If you can, blend MAGE early on to search your deck for all the gems you need.

Get ready to learn your gem types! Chain together BISHOP with FROST HERALD to stop your opponent from even playing gems. Use this extra time to get all 9 basic gem types on your field. Make sure SAGE is in center position so when the time is right, LUSTER STRIKER will be ready to attack for a whopping 10 damage

Pro Tip: You actually only need 8 different gem types on your field because JUBILEE can add an invisible gem of the missing type.

DEXTER is a powerful hero that helps you cheat out blends! Use COLLECT and SUPER COLLECT to stack your deck perfectly, so that DEXTER can reveal a powerful blend every turn. This deck is the fastest one out there, so be aggressive. Don’t be afraid to use DEXTER blindly!

Pro tip: Combo SILAS and LAUREN to switch your heroes’ positions every turn.

With this deck, you’ll gain control over your opponent’s hand size. Use MIN-SEO to thin your deck of level 2 blends. USHER and CAPACITOR synergize well to give you both attack power and a gem advantage. Transition to SLIP KNOTTER to restrict your opponent’s ability to blend. Finally, use PEARL DECEPTOR to force them to minimize their hand size.

Pro Tip: If you’re looking for some extra damage, use GEM TRICK to add some ELECTROGEMS to your BOLT RAM.

This deck can be slow to start, but becomes more powerful toward the endgame. Try to get HERALD as soon as possible, so you can use TARA to draw extra cards. If needed, you can use BLOOM IRRIGATOR with DHRUV to force switch your opponent without losing any gems. 

Pro Tip: If facing an aggressive deck, don’t attack if you have a MOJO CHARGER in hand – you can use it to gain your life back and stall for time.

PINNACLE ENCHANTER plus LESTER is a match made in heaven. Chase down your opponent’s heroes with LESTER to get the full effect of PINNACLE ENCHANTER. Meanwhile, a GUARD can provide extra value for very little cost – simply juggle these three heroes on your frontline for a powerful synergy. 

Pro Tip: Use FORCE SWITCH and SUMMIT GLAZER if your maneuvering is still coming up short.

This deck will take a few turns to set up before you can start launching massive attacks. Be sure to use ELAINE to start off with consistent damage and get out a MAGE to gather the gems you need. Finish off your opponent by playing RAGE DOMESTICATOR and then use RETURN, INVERT, and HERD NECROMANCER to attack on repeat!

Pro Tip: If you can, keep some CAPROGEMS in your hand to hit your opponent for some easy damage courtesy of FLARE LAUNCHER‘s effect!

Start off strong with your level 3 heroes. Attack with OTTO and ZACHARY, and try for some extra draws with ISIDORA. Work to get out SKYWARD COMMANDER on KATHY and then decide your path to victory. Discard TERRAGEMS for extra attack power or save up your PYROGEMS to multiply your non-attack damage. 

Pro Tip: Wait to use the effects of BLAZE ANGEL and GLISTEN BLINKER on the same turn and then double that damage with SKYWARD COMMANDER!

An intuitive and balanced deck, STORM combines maneuverability with consistent attack damage. Grab a blend with SELMA on your first turn and then have GLORIA help you out with any gems you may need throughout the game. Use ANGEL‘s effect to get into optimal positioning and then blend into your higher level blends like HAIL DOMINATOR and STORM WEAVER to hit your opponent where it hurts.

Pro Tip: Don’t forget to activate CARTER‘s defense! That one defense can go a long way.

With a balance between big attack and disruption, this deck has it all. Throw a CRYOGEM and TERRAGEM on HICKORY and use his effect to search your deck for a bunch of CONES. Once you’ve gathered your resources, switch to attack mode! WOOD GHOST is great in the early game before your opponent has their defenses up, and VERVE CONFLICTER will finish them once their discard is filled with blends. 

Pro Tip: If you’re falling behind, a well-timed BOND BREAKER might do the trick.
